When Plaza Larga isn't being used for a vegetable and clothes market (Saturday mornings) and other activities you can eat here at the bar Aixa at the outside teraza.
If the weather is not so good you can sit around the inside bar.

|Found this bar after a long hard uphill walk from the city centre, order the Mohito, it is by far the best in Andalucia, I tried other bars in Cordoba, Seville, etc, none came close, killer drink. The free tapas they served was beef stew. Order the fried white aubergine with honey, you will get a maga plateful of it, amazing, the best. You can have a table off the square with misting water jets that help keep you cool. Don't remember what else we had, but we did have two other main courses and could not get through it all. Temp running at a all time high of 40. We took a taxi back at a cost of 6 euros, much too hot to walk all the way back.||

|This little bar/restaurant is found in the white quarters of the Albaicin. It is at one of the main squares, Plaza Large, which isn't hard to find and close to the Mirador de San Nicolas. You get free tapas here with every drink, and the plates are full and delicious. Many dishes to choose from, too. The service was very friendly and the location perfect. Plaza Larga is in the shade of some trees, quiet, authentic (yet touristy as well), and there is always a free seat on the terrace!||
