La Mancha

La Mancha:
Traditional tapas bar in the centre of Granada
This is a very well-known traditional bar. There are no free tapas but there is a sandwich bar where you can choose the filling for the sandwich. If you are not hungry enough for a full meal but you want more than just tapas this place is ideal.
This bar is well-known for its sandwiches/bocadillos. The bocadillos are straight bread rolls about 20cm long. You can choose any filling from the vast array of ingredients in the fridge. I normally have bacon with roquefort cheese.

When I lived in Granada many years ago I used to come here with friends after work. It is just the same now as it used to be. It is a very good and authentic bar with a nice choice of tapas and custom made bocadillos with many combinations. We would go to the Casteñeda, Casa Julio, this bar and several others.
