The Casa de los Pisa was built by the Pisa family after the reconquest of Granada in 1492. The Pisa family took in San Juan de Dios when he was suffering from pneumonia and he died here on 8th March 1550. The house is now home to the San Juan de Dios museum with an exhibition of art and objects relating to his life and work.
